Whether you're sensing a call to pastoral ministry, exploring your vocation, or wanting to grow deeper in your faith, EBC is designed to equip believers for ministry in the local church and the marketplace.
-
We exist to form future pastors who will lead the Church with strong orthodox theology, spiritual maturity, and a high-level of ministry competency through rigorous academics, an intentional culture of mentorship, and ministry practice in local churches across Canada.

EBC offers the one-year Christian Ministry Certificate (DELTA), the Church Planters & Pastoral Ministry Program (CPPM), and the Bachelor of Theology (BTH) program.
-
Our programs are intentionally designed to build on one another, creating a clear and meaningful pathway for growth. For example, our Bachelor of Theology program includes Delta as your first year and the Church Planter and Pastoral Ministry Certificate as your second year. However, at the same time, each certificate program can also stand on its own, giving you the flexibility to take Delta as a foundational year or step directly into the Church Planter and Pastoral Ministry Certificate, depending on where you are in your journey.
-
Yes. Every program emphasizes hands-on ministry experience, allowing students to serve in local churches while developing ministry competencies and leadership skills.
We love when students remain actively involved and planted in their home church throughout their studies. However, if that isn't possible due to location, transportation, or other circumstances, we are happy to connect students with one of our partner churches to help facilitate a meaningful ministry placement that aligns with their gifts and calling.
-
Not at all. Many students come to EBC while discerning their calling. Programs like DELTA are specifically designed to help students explore ministry, leadership, and vocation in a supportive environment.
-
Yes. EBC offers a variety of scholarships and bursaries to help make theological education more accessible for students.

Emmanuel Bible College is currently pursuing accreditation through the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), with an anticipated accreditation date of February 2028.
In the meantime, our certificates, diplomas, and degrees are fully recognized by the Government of Ontario. Accreditation does not affect the validity or recognition of your credential; rather, it serves as an external measure of academic quality and institutional excellence.
For students entering our Bachelor of Theology (BTH) program this fall, we anticipate receiving accreditation before you complete your degree, allowing you to benefit from this milestone during your studies.

Just like traditional universities, EBC prioritizes high academic standards. Our faculty generally hold at least a Master’s degree (such as a Master of Divinity [M.Div.], Master of Arts [M.A.] in Theology, or a related field) from an accredited institution. Many also hold doctorates.

Our EBC faculty are unique because they blend robust scholarship with "in-the-trenches" experience. The vast majority of our professors have years of active ministry experience as senior pastors, youth leaders, missionaries, church planters, Biblical counselors, or nonprofit directors. They don’t just teach theory; they teach from a lifetime of practical, real-world experience.
