Financial Aid & Student Financial Services FAQ

  • The scholarship application deadline for the 2027–2028 academic year is June 27, 2027.

  • In addition to tuition, students are responsible for the following fees:

    • Access & Technology Fee: $175 per semester

    • Learning Resource Fee: $100 per semester

    • Library Fee: $10 per credit

    • Student Life Fee: $2 per credit

    • Student Services Fee: $8 per credit

  • Yes. Students from provinces outside Ontario may be eligible to use their provincial student financial assistance to study at Emmanuel Bible College. Eligibility and application requirements vary by province.

  • If you are a resident of Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, or another Canadian province or territory, you should apply through your home province's student financial assistance program. If your application is approved, your funding can generally be used toward your studies at Emmanuel Bible College, provided your program meets your province's eligibility requirements.

  • If you have questions about applying for provincial funding or need assistance completing your application, please contact the Admissions Office. Our team is happy to guide you through the process.

  • The add/drop deadline for the Fall 2026 semester is September 25, 2026.

  • Tuition refunds are available only to students who officially withdraw from a course or program before the published add/drop deadline for the semester. Students wishing to withdraw must submit written notice to the Registrar.

    After the add/drop deadline, students are responsible for all tuition, fees, and any outstanding balances for the semester.

  • Students receiving institutional scholarships, bursaries, or awards should note that these may be adjusted or cancelled depending on the date of withdrawal and the specific terms of the award.

  • Students receiving government student financial assistance (including provincial or territorial student aid) should be aware that withdrawing from studies or reducing their course load may result in a reassessment of their funding by the applicable student aid authority.

    Any tuition refund related to government student financial assistance will be returned to the applicable student aid authority in accordance with provincial or territorial requirements before any remaining eligible refund is issued to the student, if applicable. Students may also be required to repay a portion of their funding and should contact their student aid authority for more information.

  • Yes. Financial counselling services are available by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please contact the Registrar's Office.

List of Scholarships

  • Three scholarships are awarded annually to students enrolled at Emmanuel Bible College. One scholarship is awarded to a returning student in the final year of the Bachelor of Theology (BTh) program, recognizing their continued commitment to theological education and ministry preparation. Two additional scholarships are awarded to students pursuing one of Emmanuel's one-year certificate programs: the DELTA Christian Ministry Certificate or the Church Planting & Pastoral Ministry (CPPM) Certificate.

  • The "Second Chance Fund" is more than just financial aid; it is a lifeline for those who have experienced hardships in life and are now seeking to follow Christ with all that they have through education and spiritual growth through post secondary Christian education.

  • An annual scholarship awarded to a person with extensive workplace experience who is devoting at least a year to Christian studies with the intention of returning to his/her career and to lay ministry. The applicant desires to improve biblical knowledge and Christian witness within the secular workforce and/or lay leadership in the church. An applicant who is a missionary on home assignment or a child of a missionary may also be considered. Applicants must also meet the General Criteria qualifications.

  • This scholarship was established to honour our student who lost his life in a climbing accident in Nigeria in 1998 and is awarded to a new student applying for a degree program and committed to preparation for full-time ministry. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate at least two of these characteristics: strong leadership skills, a clear Christian testimony in high school, and a passion for mission or youth work.

  • To be divided between three new students’ student who will be attending at least three-quarters time. One year program is included.


  • The successful application is a new full-time EBC program student who has demonstrated a financial need.

  • Two scholarships are awarded annually to students pursuing full-time (3/4) studies at EBC. These awards are presented on the basis of financial need. One to a first year student One to a second year.


  • Student who has successfully completed at least one full semester with a AGPA 3.0 or higher who has service career goal in evangelism and/or Christian education in the inner city, or in outreach to ethnic groups within Ontario cities. Preference will be given to female students.


  • The successful applicant is a Part-time or full-time student who has demonstrated a financial need.

  • Awarded on the basis of financial need, industry and field education activities.

  • Two awards are available to qualifying second or third-year students, one in missions and one in counselling studies, on the basis of character and commitment to mission’s service and people-helping.

  • One memorial bursary is provided for a married, pastoral program student, preferably in 3rd or 4th year, who is currently in, or going into, full-time ministry.

  • Awarded annually to full-time students entering the second year of B.Th. programs, demonstrating successful achievement in academic study and in field education.

  • Awarded to a student that can show financial need.

  • This memorial award is made annually to a returning student demonstrating passion for the Great Commission, strength of character and interest in full-time ministry. Preference will be given to students with a minimum 3.0 AGPA and intending to serve in vocational pastoral ministry.

  • This scholarship is awarded each year to a returning, full-time, female student in a degree program on the basis of academic achievement, Christian character, and potential for impacting the world through her life and ministry.

  • Awarded to a student demonstrating financial need enrolled in the BTH program with an interest in worship ministry.

  • Awarded to a student who is a single mother pursuing ministry.
