Residence Move-in
Move-in day is the start of an exciting new season! Our team will be ready to welcome you, help you get settled into residence, and introduce you to your new community. You'll have time to unpack, meet your roommates and fellow students, explore campus, and begin building the friendships that will shape your year. We can't wait to welcome you home and help you start this journey with confidence and connection.
Orientation Week
Orientation is designed to help you start the year feeling prepared, connected, and excited for what's ahead. Over two days, you'll meet faculty and staff, get to know your classmates, learn about campus life and academic expectations, and discover the opportunities available to you throughout the year. Through fun activities, community-building experiences, and practical sessions, you'll begin forming meaningful relationships and gain the tools you need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Family Dinner
Family Dinner is one of our favourite traditions of the year. Students are welcomed around the table with members of our Board, faculty, staff, and ministry leaders for an evening of food, conversation, and connection. It's an opportunity to build relationships beyond the classroom, hear stories and wisdom from those serving in ministry, and engage with the broader EBC community. More than just a meal, Family Dinner reflects our commitment to forming students within a supportive and encouraging community.
Friday Night Chapel
Once a month, our campus community gathers for Friday Night Chapel—a dedicated evening of worship, prayer, and spiritual formation. Through worship, biblical teaching, and opportunities to respond to what God is doing, students are encouraged and challenged in their faith journey. These evenings create space to slow down, encounter God together, and deepen relationships within the EBC community.
Student Retreat
The Student Retreat is an opportunity to step away from the rhythms of everyday life and spend intentional time growing in your relationship with God and one another. Through worship, teaching, prayer, and community-building experiences, students are encouraged, refreshed, and challenged in their faith. Whether through meaningful conversations, shared activities, or moments of reflection, the retreat is often a highlight of the year and a significant part of building a strong campus community.
BaseCon
Each fall, students have the opportunity to attend BaseCon, a leadership conference designed to equip and inspire the local church. Gathering pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and emerging leaders from across Canada, BaseCon features dynamic keynote sessions, practical ministry breakouts, powerful worship, and meaningful opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about advancing God's Kingdom. It's a unique opportunity to grow in leadership, deepen your faith, and gain fresh vision for ministry and the Church.

Christmas Party
Candlelit Christmas is one of our most cherished traditions—a special evening where students, faculty, staff, and guests gather to celebrate the birth of Christ. Through worship, Scripture readings, candlelight, and some games, we pause during the busy Christmas season to reflect on the hope, peace, joy, and love found in Jesus. It's a meaningful night that brings our community together and helps us end the semester focused on the true meaning of Christmas.

Graduation
Graduation is a celebration of God's faithfulness and the hard work, growth, and dedication of our students throughout their journey at EBC. Together with family, friends, faculty, staff, and ministry partners, we gather to recognize academic achievement, spiritual formation, and preparation for future ministry and leadership. It's a meaningful milestone that marks both the completion of a season and the beginning of what God has next.
